About This Course
Welcome to our Comprehensive Close Quarters Battle (CQB) Training Program, hosted at Constellis Training Facility (North Carolina). This intensive course is designed to provide a solid foundation in CQB tactics and techniques, equipping students with the essential skills required to operate effectively in close-quarters environments.
Lodging and chow hall options are available on-site through Constellis for an additional cost.
Ammunition can also be supplied upon request. Please coordinate in advance to ensure availability.
Course Objectives
In this course, you will:
- Master Core CQB Skills: Develop a strong foundation in weapon handling, movement, and communication, and apply them effectively in real-world scenarios.
- Tactical Approach to Enclosures: Learn how to properly approach and prepare for entry into various structures while minimizing exposure.
- Entry and Clearing Techniques: Execute systematic room and building clearing, including breaching methods and team flow.
- Context-Based Decision Making: Adapt tactics based on environment—tight hallways, open areas, and complex layouts.
- Hallway Navigation: Identify and safely clear L-shaped, T-shaped, and linear hallways.
- Target & Occupant Processing: Rapidly distinguish threats from non-threats under pressure.
- Live Fire CQB Drills: Conduct live-fire operations in a shoot house environment during daylight conditions.

Ammunition Requirements
- Frangible Ammunition: 150 rounds required for live-fire CQB (daytime use only)

CQB Evaluation (Sunday Morning):
Students must bring 100 rounds of standard ball ammunition for both primary and secondary weapon systems for final evaluation.
If you require ammunition support, please coordinate prior to the course.
Course Time Commitment
- Duration: 2 Days
- Day 1: 09:00 – Training Completion
- Day 2: 09:00 – 18:00
- Classroom Instruction: ~1 hour/day
- Practical Application: Majority of training time (hands-on)
- Daytime Live Fire: Conducted under controlled conditions in the shoot house

- U.S. Citizens Only
- No felony convictions or active legal restrictions
- Subject to background screening
Minimum Enrollment
This course requires a minimum of 8 students to run. If the minimum is not met, students will be offered a full refund or course credit.
