The PATROL MED 2-Day Course is a professional, hands-on tactical medical program designed exclusively for sworn law enforcement officers and credentialed first responders.

In critical incidents, officers are often the first medical providers on scene. The ability to rapidly control bleeding, manage trauma, and care for the injured before EMS arrives can mean the difference between life and death.

This course provides practical medical skills tailored to the realities of patrol operations.

This course is not open to the general public.
Training will take place in Morgantown, West Virginia. The exact address will be emailed after credentials are reviewed and confirmed.

Airway and Breathing

Operational Casualty Management

• Officer self-aid and buddy-aid

• Downed-officer rescue principles

• Casualty movement and extraction

• Patrol-level evacuation

• EMS handoff procedures

Medical Decision-Making

• Medical problem-solving under stress

• Treatment priorities in dynamic environments

• Recognizing common on-duty medical emergencies

HANDS-ON, PERFORMANCE-BASED TRAINING

This is not a lecture-only course. Students will participate in:

• Practical skills stations

• Equipment setup and optimization

• Scenario-based exercises

• Stress-based medical decision-making

• Performance validation drills

Every attendee will physically perform and validate each skill taught.
