About This Course:
In this course you will learn a fundamentals based approach to the core skills of CQB and how to apply them in different situations, how to tactically approach an enclosure, how to enter, process, and clear spaces, how to identify the proper tactics to use based on contextually based situations, identify and clear a different types of hallways, and process targets and occupants. The end state for this class is for the students to walk away with a foundation of practical and repeatable skills in which they can pass on, making themselves an asset to themselves and others.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand the principles and fundamentals of enclosure clearing tactics
- Successfully enter, clear, and secure an enclosure
- Identify, and clear the three types of hallways
- Correctly identify and prosecute threats and non- threats during the clearing process
- Learning how to properly employ flashbangs into a room. (IWA flashbangs) We will provide you with 1 live flashbang for the course.
Course Time Commitment:
- Two, 8 hour days (09-1800)
- 1 hour classroom time per day
- 2 hours of practical application/ demo (AM)
- 1 hour lunch break
- 5 hours of practical application/ demo (PM)
You will be emailed the Packing/Gear list once you have enrolled into the class, we will also reach out to ask some general background knowledge of the subject where we can help you get set up for success.
