Appalachian Range Day Ticket Description

Event Overview:

Join us for the inaugural Appalachian Range Day, hosted by Keystone Dynamic Solutions at the premier Panthera Training Center in West Virginia. This exciting event kicks off on Friday, September 27th at 5:00 PM EST and concludes on Sunday, September 29th at 10:00 AM EST. It promises to be an unforgettable experience combining open ranges, specialized training courses, and opportunities to connect with a wide array of vendors. Each ticket purchased is also a entry into the door prize table, all companies present will have items that only event ticket holders can win. Winner of the items must be present at the time of drawing. If you purchase a course, you also get the $100 ticket value as well. You do not need to buy both to attend.

Event Highlights:

Open Ranges & Specialized Training Courses: Whether you are a firearms enthusiast or a professional, this event offers a blend of open range sessions and specialized courses to enhance your skills, learn new techniques, and engage with experts.

Training Courses Available: these courses are 1 day, Starts 8am Saturday morning and ending 5pm.

Schedule:

Friday, September 27th:

  • 5:00 PM EST: Vendors social start time
  • Early access for ticket holders to set up campsites and meet vendors
  • NO LIVE FIRE DURING THIS TIME.

Saturday, September 28th:

  • Morning: 8:30 AM - All Ranges go hot and training courses commence
  • 1:00 AM EST: Ranges go cold
  • Evening: Campsites available for overnight stay
  • 6:30 GIVE AWAY AND EVENT PHOTO AT PAVILLION

Sunday, September 29th:

  • 10:00 AM EST: All participants and vendors depart

On-site CAMPING provided. Food trucks available.

Vendors at Appalachian Range Day:

We are thrilled to host a diverse group of 38 vendors and counting, bringing a wide array of products and services to the event. This impressive lineup is designed to enhance your experience, offering everything from the latest firearms and tactical gear to innovative training aids and survival equipment.

Comprehensive Product Range: By inviting a wide variety of vendors, we ensure that participants have access to the latest and greatest in firearms, accessories, tactical gear, and survival equipment.

Networking Opportunities: The event provides an excellent platform for networking with industry experts, exchanging ideas, and learning about new products and technologies.

Educational Value: Many of our vendors offer demonstrations and hands-on experiences with their products, enhancing the learning experience.

Enhancing the Training Experience: Participants can purchase gear and accessories that directly relate to their training, such as medical kits for the Tactical Medicine course or advanced sighting systems for the Pistol and Rifle Fundamentals course.

Vendor Highlights:

  • Firearms Manufacturers: Displaying the latest in firearm technology, offering opportunities to handle and test new models.
  • Tactical Gear Suppliers: Showcasing high-quality gear including vests, helmets, and other protective equipment.
  • Training Aid Providers: Offering innovative solutions for training, such as advanced targets and simulation equipment.
  • Survival Equipment Vendors: Providing essential tools and gear for outdoor survival and emergency preparedness.

Training Courses:

Close Quarters Battle (CQB): A comprehensive introduction to tactical skills for engaging in close-quarters combat, covering strategic approaches, entry techniques, room clearing, and more.

Tactical Medicine: Focusing on life-saving care in a tactical environment, including hemorrhage control, airway management, treating respiratory issues, preventing hypothermia, casualty evacuation, CPR, and AED use.

Small Unit Tactics: Teaching the fundamentals of small unit operations, including movement formations, patrol techniques, and tactical communication within a team.

Pistol and Rifle Fundamentals: Covering firearm handling and marksmanship essentials, including stance, grip, trigger manipulation, target transitions, and shooting on the move.

These courses are taught by experienced instructors from Keystone Dynamic Solutions and are limited to small class sizes of 5 to 10 participants to ensure personalized attention and effective learning.

Camping Rules and Regulations:

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, please adhere to the following camping rules and regulations:

General Rules:

  • Camp Setup: Campsites will be available for setup beginning on Friday, September 27th at 5:00 PM EST. Please check in with event staff upon arrival to receive your campsite assignment.
  • Camping Areas: Campsites will be designated by event staff. Please set up only in your assigned area. Keep your campsite clean and dispose of trash in designated receptacles.
  • Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Please be considerate of your fellow campers during these times. IF you wish to socialize past these hours, the vendor area is open for this. We are not telling you to go to bed at 10pm but we are going to give people who wish to do so a peaceful area to rest. 

Prohibited Activities:

  • Alcohol and Drug Policy: No alcohol or drug use is allowed at any time during the event or on the Panthera Training Center facility. If you are found using alcohol or drugs, you will be asked to leave the event immediately without a refund.
  • Firearms and Weapons: Firearms and weapons must be handled safely and responsibly at all times. No handling of firearms or weapons is allowed at campsites. Use designated areas only. you are only allowed to have a loaded weapon while on the firing line. Please keep all weapons clear of ammo unless being used at one of the open ranges or courses being instructors by event staff. 
  • Fires: Open fires are not permitted. Use only designated cooking areas and equipment for any fire-related activities.

Safety and Security:

  • Emergencies: In case of an emergency, contact event staff or onsite security personnel immediately. First aid and medical assistance will be available throughout the event.
  • Pets: Pets are not allowed at the event, with the exception of service animals. You are responsible for pet waste clean-up.

Departure:

  • Clean Up: Break down your campsite and pack out all belongings and trash by 10:00 AM on Sunday, September 29th. Leave your campsite as you found it, ensuring it is clean and free of debris.
  • Check Out: Check out with event staff before departing the facility.

Compliance: All participants are expected to comply with the above rules and regulations. Event staff and security personnel reserve the right to enforce these rules and take appropriate action if necessary. Failure to adhere to rules can result in eviction from the event with no refund.

Had a good time

I had a great time, lots of full autos. However, the food truck was horrible. I hope you don't get them for next year. I was disappointed considering I had to drive to sheetz for food halfway through the day.
